Drawn by a deep curiosity about China, Egyptian student Li Ren'an arrived in Shanxi to uncover the truth behind the myths. Trading imagination for experience, he has transformed Shanxi into his warm second home, bridging the distance from the Nile to the Fen River, and from the Pyramids to the majestic Mount Wutai.

来自埃及的留学生李仁安，带着对中国的好奇踏上山西这片土地。曾经外界对中国的种种想象，他选择亲身寻找答案。在埃及从事法律相关工作的他，因山西友人推荐来到山西大学攻读国际法，“仁安” 这个饱含善意的名字，也承载着他守护他人的初心。

在太原，他拜师学习功夫，闲暇去迎泽公园漫步，投喂流浪小猫，跟着面馆老板钻研地道山西面食。从尼罗河到汾河，从金字塔到五台山，一碗亲手擀出的面条，让他真切生出归属感。

功夫尚待精进，美食与风光仍待探索，山西早已成为他温暖的第二故乡。
